We Are Noise

Noise is UNSW’s newest and most independent student paper, run entirely by and for students.

We follow a decades-old tradition of underground student journalism produced in protest of the institutions that rely on secrecy and deception to conduct unethical business practices without accountability.

We believe that Arc, in the same way, has no interest in representing genuine student voices, and their corporate executives are taking extreme measures to intimidate and silence students from speaking freely about the company’s many flaws.

We founded Noise to encourage UNSW students to question and scrutinise Arc’s initiatives so that transparency and accountability may be demanded of the Arc Board and its corporate executives.
